Aftermarket Riving Knife/Splitter System for Delta 36-600 Table Saws

The user's Delta 36-600 table saw splitter is defective, posing a kickback risk. This highlights the need for a reliable aftermarket safety device.

Product Suggestion: A precisely engineered, aftermarket riving knife or splitter specifically designed for the Delta 36-600 table saw model. This product should be:

  1. Model-Specific: Engineered to fit and align perfectly with the Delta 36-600.
  2. Easy to Install & Adjust: Designed for straightforward installation and fine-tuning by the user, ensuring proper alignment with the blade.
  3. Durable Material: Constructed from high-quality steel or a similarly robust material to prevent bending or breaking, addressing concerns about the durability of existing solutions (like plastic parts or weak pins).
  4. Effective Kickback Prevention: Designed to accurately follow the blade's kerf, keeping the workpiece from pinching the blade.

Expected Benefits:

  • For the User: Significantly enhanced safety by mitigating kickback risk, allowing continued use of an otherwise functional saw. Provides a reliable replacement for a failed or poorly designed OEM part.
  • For the Business: Addresses a clear, safety-critical need in a niche market (owners of Delta 36-600 saws, and potentially adaptable to similar models). Safety-focused products often have strong demand. Potential for good profit margins on a specialized, well-engineered part. Positive word-of-mouth from satisfied users whose safety is improved.

My spreader on my Delta 36-600 table saw doesn’t work even when I adjust it. It is either defective or whatever. My saw works well without it but there is that kickback issue I would like to

Micro jig makes these things https://www.amazon.com/MICROJIG-GRR-RIPPER-SP-2TK-Splitter-Steelpro/dp/B00B03PMY0?ref_=dslp_ap_dp I've never used them but they seem like they would work Edit:

The more expensive one has steel pins inside the splitter inserts which are less likely to break if you have a board bind on it.
