If its toxic then leave when you are ready to leave. If you leave and say nothing to anyone about the negatives of your prior job, then ultimately you're doing your former employer a favor.

This doesn’t really exist in law. Just leave when you have a new job. People routinely stay at places for only a few months and move on. I think movement is much more accepted in our industry

My rule of thumb is to stay at least a year. You met the threshold in your previous job, you should be fine. Don’t stay if you are miserable. Be proactive and find a better place.
