This is probably some sort of stupid question, but my google drive is always very full when it shouldnt be. my email is cleared almost completely empty, and when i open my drive, only \~12 go

It says my google photos are saved to the cloud, but its categorized differently in the website/app. theres a section called "Drive" and a section called "Photos" so im assuming those would s

Well Google is cloud based . What about photos on your phone it counts toward storage if you are backing up to the cloud
