Course/Guide: Retail & Growth Strategies for Artisan Jewelry Brands
The Reddit posters, who are two moms running a unique jewelry line as a side business, mention they "need advice on how to grow," are "trying to get into more stores," and "feel stuck" despite initial success ($60k in the first year from trunk shows and events). This clearly indicates a demand for an information resource, aligning with the "if there was a course about Z" scenario.
Product Suggestion: A specialized online course or comprehensive digital guide titled: "From Side Hustle to Store Shelves: A Growth Blueprint for Artisan Jewelers."
This resource would focus on:
- Strategies for identifying and approaching suitable retail stores (boutiques, galleries, specialty shops).
- Developing professional pitch materials (lookbooks, line sheets, wholesale pricing structures).
- Understanding and negotiating wholesale and consignment agreements.
- Leveraging online presence (website, Instagram) to attract retail buyers.
- Marketing tactics to support retail partnerships.
- Scaling production and operations to meet increased demand.
- Navigating trade shows versus local events for B2B opportunities.
Expected Benefits:
- For the Users (Jewelry Business Owners): They would gain actionable knowledge, clear strategies, and practical tools to successfully get their products into more retail stores, increase their revenue streams, and scale their business beyond local events. It would provide a roadmap to overcome their feeling of being "stuck."
- For the Provider (of the course/guidebook): This offers a direct revenue stream from sales of the information product. It also positions the provider as an expert in the artisan jewelry business niche, potentially leading to further opportunities like consulting or advanced workshops.

Ooof yes I know it is tough. Especially for items with a high price point like yours (I’m assuming based on quality of materials!), it can definitely be hard to find more affordable events.

Ps. Are you using wire or thread for your necklaces?

Oh, great idea. I'm getting gemstones from Jaipur with 10% discount but never thought of going thru WhatsApp.
Yes please, I'd like the shop name.

Two possibilities you could look into:

That’s a good idea also if we include what each stone symbolizes. I would have to check the price point for those events because we are around $175-$300 but also love that community!

Do you have any online space? If not, I still think Etsy is a good place to list products for people to purchase. There’s listing and selling fees but just build them into your price. Then,

Yeah we use high quality stones for the most part and 18K Good Fill or Gold Plate so the cost to make them is high but the stones really speak for themselves.
