DIY Patio Slope System: Easy-to-Use Guides for Perfect Outdoor Drainage.

The poster mentions that their first garden tiling project involved a lot more trial and error than they anticipated, hinting at the common challenges faced, especially when it comes to getting the right slope for drainage. A product aimed at DIY enthusiasts could be a "DIY Outdoor Tiling Slope & Drainage Guide." This could include adjustable string line holders with built-in mini levels preset for common slope ratios (like 1/4" per foot), or interlocking base spacers that create a consistent, gentle slope. The expected benefit? It would simplify a technically challenging part of DIY outdoor projects, reducing mistakes and enhancing the longevity of the tiled surface. This would appeal to homeowners tackling patio or walkway projects.

There are pocket gizmos for measuring slant etc but a string line, bubble level and rulers/yard stick or so can probably be substituted. The amount of the slant can be easily found on Lougle
