A colored glass film or filter would be a better option than paint, it's also less permanent and easier to remove.

They have paint you can apply to glass. If you don't like how it turns out you can use a razor to remove it. Go by a hobby store and look at what they have for glass paint.

I'd just buy a film, personally, because windows need to be cleaned occasionally.
But if you don't mind your artwork being wiped off in a few years go for it! It won't hurt anything.
