Hands-on Workshops or Online Courses for Traditional Buckskin Making Craft.

The poster mentions helping out with a buckskin making class, which shows there are people eager to learn this traditional skill. There's a rising interest in heritage crafts, survival skills, and sustainable practices. Offering workshops—both in-person locally or regionally and online for a wider audience—or comprehensive DIY kits with materials and clear instructions could meet this demand. Potential benefits include income from course fees, workshop registrations, and sales of instructional materials or complete kits.

I got to assist and help teach a buckskins making class this past weekend. Such a fun time and hanging out with friends! Bonus of venison ribs at the end

Yup! Or any animal brain. Lots of good fat to put back into the skin.

Is it true you use the deer’s brain in the process?

I'd also like to know, or if you know any good books or tutorial videos. Thanks In advance

Best advice I can give is to grab the Deerskins to Buckskins book, the process is too long in thorough to explain over a message.

For me the overall taste is so good, it was also two or three deer that we had in the crockpot. This was a very slow braised one with our game broth, and spices!

What is the effort/payoff for venison ribs? There's so little meat.
