High-demand welding opportunity with SpaceX for trade school graduates.

Published on 06/12/2025Hiring & Talent Acquisition Insights

This post shines a light on a fantastic opportunity for a 19-year-old welder fresh out of trade school, who was invited to test for SpaceX. It really highlights the high demand for skilled welders, especially those with formal training, in advanced sectors like aerospace. For job seekers, particularly recent trade school graduates in welding, it’s worth looking into opportunities with aerospace companies like SpaceX and Blue Origin, as well as exploring union positions. Comments indicate that skilled welders in these roles can earn more than related trades, such as pipefitters. When crafting a resume, it's important to highlight formal welding training from trade school, any success in competitive testing processes (like for SpaceX), and a clear willingness to relocate for these high-value career opportunities.
