Those socket adapters are a fucking nightmare. For a camera, should be fine, but most sockets are rated for 100w max power draw. Which is less than 1 amp at 120v. I’ve come across a lot of me

You can buy bulb socket adapters for less than $5. Bulb to usb or a power outlet.
Also, two wire pigtails if you need to hand wire something to it.
