Modular Holster System for Backpacking
The user is looking for a better way to carry a firearm while backpacking. They find existing solutions like belt holsters and chest rigs to be just okay, and they're frustrated by the high cost of trying out multiple incompatible products. This suggests a market opportunity for a specialized, modular holster system designed to work with various standard backpacks. The product could include a universal mounting platform for the backpack's hip belt or shoulder strap, with interchangeable holsters for different firearm models. This would address the specific issues of comfort, accessibility, and the high trial cost for the niche but dedicated market of armed outdoor enthusiasts.

Just get a regular belt OWB holster with a Safariland QLS fork system. Its comfortable and stays far enough off of your hip to not interfere while walking.

The issue with that is I'd be spending a ton of money trying everything out. Big sunk cost.
