Business casual means you can step away from the suit jacket, but really everything else of the suit is close to the same.
Slacks and a nice shirt (with a cardigan if cold)
Skirt and a nic

The blazers look great on you! Form fitting and appropriate. I would suggest wearing nice sleeveless top beneath the first jacket.
Pair both blazers with dark wide pants, or jeans or pencil
u/LadyProto
Well. Not that
u/Numerous-Help-5987
Okay so I’m hearing I should widen my budget a little and get some decent black dress pants I might just have to do that
u/Gilmoregirlin
Shorts are not business casual. You could go with a nice black dress underneath or another color, look at sheath dresses. Calvin Klein makes some nice ones.

Business casual is;
- tidy dark jeans (no rips, no diamantes or embroidery) with a blazer and a button down, or
- flowy dark pants with a blazer and blouse, or
- a pleated or satin/silk m

it’s NEVER booty shorts.
u/Cultural-War-2838
Shorts are never business attire. Bus Casual is a step down from a business suit but just one (1) step down. A dress that doesn't show too much leg or cleavage, pants (slacks not yoga pants)

Both tops work for business casual. You can wear them w Pants, skirt and sling back heals or any other shoes. Also the blazers are great and you can add a blouse under the blazers too.
u/AsleepReview1862
Not that lmao
u/Direction_Numerous
I second this! I don't know if it's indoors or outdoors, but you could always pair the pencil skirt with a more casual-leaning top and a blazer or cardigan could be brought along as an extra

Ok that red blazer is fire

Jeans and T short is perfect.
Add some basic dainty jewelery and thats business casual in style :)
u/Cultural-War-2838
If you already bought the jacket hem the sleeves and move the buttons half an inch to allow a little more slack. It looks tight around the waist.
u/lifetimechronicles
And jeans are not business casual. I would pair a blazer with pants
u/incomplete-picture
Jeans are NOT business casual. You are confusing smart casual and business casual
u/Real-Society2205
Sure a pencil skirt would work, but that would be more "business" than "business casual". I think a denim pencil skirt would be cute if you have one, or a longer satiny skirt that could work
u/-TheScribbler-
It's not this, that's for sure. You need something significantly lower on the bottom, it's not appropriate for business casual at all.
u/cocktailnapkinssuck
Depends on the work place and venue. Shorts especially short shorts are never appropriate for work events. The blazer is super cute put some darker jeans with it. Layering is key, a little d
u/Numerous-Help-5987
My back up is straight leg dark denim jeans and a clean tee lol I will check out Ann Taylor for inspo I’m on a mega budget but need to find something that matches and that I’ll wear again
u/stonedwithmybestie
Not this 😭
u/Fluffy_Musician6805
Shorts are not business anything they don’t belong at work unless you’re landscaping

Dark black jeans would work.
u/mercinariesgtr
#1 is too close to the camera to get the whole idea but #2 is sooooooooo far from being business attire lol. I think the basically-booty-shorts and sneakers are what brings it down to just ca
u/luevire
Business casual is NOT : athletic wear, flip-flops, ripped or distressed clothing, low-cut tops, crop tops, shorts, skirts or dresses that are *too* short, flashy or distracting accessories.
