Offer social media tools to a creator struggling with declining engagement.
Okay, based on the Reddit post and the previous analysis, here's the breakdown:
Identified Influencer/Active Community Member:
- Reddit User: The original poster (OP) of thread "1l60vo3" (username not provided in the snippet, but identifiable as the one who initiated the post "Hashtags").
Reason for Selection:
- Directly Experiencing the Problem: The OP explicitly mentions their social media engagement (on IG, Meta/Facebook, X) has dropped since someone else took over, specifically mentioning a disagreement over hashtag strategy.
- Actively Seeking Solutions/Understanding: Their post ("Not sure i...") shows they're confused and looking for clarity or a solution regarding hashtag effectiveness.
- Manages Multiple Platforms: The OP confirms they are active on "Mainly IG, Meta, Facebook and X," making them an ideal candidate for a solution that can address multi-platform strategies.
- Alignment with Previous Analysis: This user fits the profile we identified: managing multiple platforms, facing declining engagement, and struggling with hashtag strategy.
Collaboration Suggestion:
-
Educational Outreach:
- Action: Reach out to the OP (ideally via a direct message on Reddit if possible, or by thoughtfully engaging in their thread if DMs are not an option).
- Content: Start by empathizing with their situation regarding declining engagement and hashtag confusion. Offer a concise, educational explanation of modern hashtag strategy, covering:
- The varying importance of hashtags across IG, Facebook, and X.
- The shift from quantity to quality/relevance of hashtags (addressing their helper's concern about "too many").
- The increasing importance of keywords within captions (as noted by commenters in their thread).
- The potential negative impact of irrelevant or overused hashtags on algorithms.
- Goal: Establish credibility and provide immediate value without an initial sales pitch.
-
Introduce Solution as a Helper:
- Action: After providing educational value, gently introduce your social media management tool, analytics platform, or consultancy service.
- Content: Frame it as a solution that can help them:
- Analyze their current hashtag performance.
- Identify optimal, targeted hashtags for their specific content and audience on each platform.
- Understand the right balance of hashtags vs. keyword-rich captions.
- Track engagement changes to see what's working.
- Offer: Propose a free trial, a discounted introductory package, or a complimentary audit of their current hashtag strategy using your tool/expertise.
Expected Benefits:
- Valuable Testimonial/Case Study: If your solution helps the OP improve their engagement, they can provide a powerful, authentic testimonial. Their journey from declining engagement and hashtag confusion to improved results would make a compelling case study.
- Brand Advocate: A satisfied OP is likely to share their positive experience within their network or with their audience, organically promoting your solution.
- Direct Product Feedback: Working closely with the OP provides an opportunity to gather firsthand feedback on your tool/service from a user experiencing common pain points.
- Content Generation: The collaboration itself (problem, educational intervention, solution, results) can be documented and repurposed into blog posts, social media content, or a webinar for your own marketing efforts, showcasing your expertise and the effectiveness of your solution.
- Demonstrate Expertise: By approaching this educationally, you position your brand as a knowledgeable leader in social media strategy, not just a tool vendor.

On what platform? Hashtags are useless on some, cause reduced visibility by the algorithm on others, and still relevant on a few. In general, hashtags aren't used as much anymore and too many

This! I think Instagram said to not use more than 5 hashtags? It's more important to use the right keywords in the caption
