If no job found , folks - A) jump to B1/B2 visa (if on H1b) Or B)get a contractor that doesn’t have job but keeps their visa active (applicable to both f1 or h1b ) Or C) jump to day

OPT is not a visa. It is a work authorization tied to the f1 or other student visas. You would have to eventually transfer to another visa like h1b or extend ur f1 with cpt regardless of empl
