Patio Door Repair vs. Replace Advisory Service & Guides
Homeowners with older sliding doors, like the one from a pre-1988 home in Montreal showing a "white band" (a sign of thermal seal failure), often wonder if a full replacement is really needed. This question, "What should I do about this patio door?" is a common one. A guide or video tutorial, or even an advisory service, could help them figure out the issue and learn that replacing just the insulated glass unit (thermo glass) might be a more cost-effective solution, as one commenter suggested.
Expected benefit: Revenue from selling guides, consultation fees, or affiliate income from glass replacement services.

If it is thermo on the outside and you have white streaks it means the seal isn't good. You can try to find a manufacturer to replace the thermo glass instead of the whole door
