I recently made my 2nd maze book through Amazon KDP, and I'm really at a loss on how to sell it. Are Amazon ads worth it? Google? Meta? Other?

Well, KDP can be paper books too, I have print on demand. Apparently a kindle maze book is against their policy... but the print version is fine.
I am super new here, so I'm hesitant to pos

Nothing low/no content is worth trying anything through KDP. Stuff just doesn't sell.
And no, you aren't an author. Authors write stuff.
u/apocalypsegal
Don't post links.

How does a Kindle maze book work? Is it okay to ask for a link?
u/AiXeLsyD13
Thank you!

I cannot fathom doing mazes on a kindle. It really seems like if you’re not doing physical books that coloring books & mazes are kinda silly.

That's my fear! Maze books are a weird niche thing. 🤣 I don't even like solving them, I just like drawing them. Finding the solutions to include in the back was torture. Ha ha.
u/AiXeLsyD13
Yup. Good thing I am doing physical books via KDP's print on demand.
I can see some people wanting to do such things on a device.
u/AliasNefertiti
Ohhhh. Teach me to assume. I was excited at the idea. Thanks much.
u/apocalypsegal
It wouldn't be done through KDP.

I messed with a single personal maze [actually a labyrinth] on an ereader [Remarkable] with pen and it was okay. On a Kindle you would have to be able to follow it visually or keep the Kindle

Sure if you have like an iPad or a scribe but a standard kindle literally can’t so it just seems odd.

Sound advice all around! I found it more amusing than anything. Ha ha. I did buy some copies to pop into little free local libraries, and of course I am sharing on social media where I can
u/AiXeLsyD13
Are the mazes hand-drawn though, or computer-generated?
u/AiXeLsyD13
Now, if we found someone to make an app to handle hand-drawn mazes...
u/Fredredittor
Don't worry about it. Their "low/no content" comment is not a reflection of your work.
The market for maze and coloring books became saturated with mass production due to AI and people on Y

Perhaps I'll shop my next one to a publisher of maze books and see how it lands.
I do blog. I could become an author, I guess.
u/AliasNefertiti
There are a bunch on Play Store but I dont know bow they are generated.
u/AiXeLsyD13
Duly noted! Thank you.
u/AiXeLsyD13
Also, I appreciate you calling my hand-drawn art which is a labor of love low/no content. Thank you. It makes me feel warm and fuzzy.
u/AiXeLsyD13
I asked the Amazon KDP community if it would work on a Kindle Scribe or a tablet, and was resoundingly called an idiot by several different people in lots of interesting and colorful ways. T

That I dont know.
u/NoOneFromNewEngland
I did some ads for my first kickstarter on Reddit and on FB.
I MIGHT have gotten an extra $10 backer out of it.
Not worth it.
u/Fredredittor
Sounds cool. Making mazes takes a lot of patience, and good attention to detail!
