Revive Custom Share Sheets: A Modern Sharedr for Android Power Users
The user is looking for a modern alternative to "Sharedr," a discontinued Android app that provided a highly customizable share sheet. This indicates a clear demand for enhanced sharing control and efficiency on Android, a feature not adequately met by the default OS.
Niche Market: Android power users, productivity enthusiasts, mobile professionals, and anyone frustrated by the limitations of the default Android share sheet. This demographic is often willing to pay for premium utility and customization.
SaaS Product Form (or App with SaaS features): A premium Android application, "SmartShare Pro," offering advanced features through a recurring subscription model.
- Core App Features (Freemium/One-time Purchase): Highly customizable share sheet interface (reorder, pin, hide apps/contacts), intelligent app suggestions based on context, quick sharing to specific contacts, filtering of irrelevant share targets, and a clean user experience.
- Subscription (SaaS) Features:
- Cloud Sync: Synchronize custom share sheet configurations and preferences across multiple Android devices (e.g., phone and tablet).
- Backup & Restore: Secure cloud backup of all settings, ensuring users don't lose their personalized configurations when switching phones or performing factory resets.
- Advanced Workflows: Create more complex, multi-step sharing automations (e.g., "Share to cloud storage + notify another app").
- Integration: Potential integrations with third-party cloud services (e.g., for direct uploads to specific folders in Dropbox, Google Drive).
- Premium Analytics (Personal): Privacy-focused insights into personal sharing habits (e.g., most frequently used sharing methods, peak sharing times) to help users optimize their workflows.
Expected Revenue:
- Pricing Model: Freemium model with a low-cost monthly or annual subscription for "Pro" features. A lifetime purchase option could also be offered.
- Potential Tiers: Annual Subscription: $1.99 - $3.99/month (or $19.99 - $39.99/year); Lifetime Purchase: $49.99.
- Market Size & Revenue Estimate: While individual subscription fees are relatively low, the addressable market of Android power users is substantial. If the app gains traction and converts just 5,000 users to an annual subscription at an average of $29.99, that would generate nearly $150,000 ARR. This niche shows a consistent willingness to pay for well-designed, productivity-enhancing mobile utilities, and the cloud-syncing features provide a strong rationale for a recurring SaaS model.

Any app like Sharedr? It's not on Google Play anymore as it's not developed anymore. It works still quite good tho. It's available at apkmirror: https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/rejh-gadellaa/sh

"linkme:" is just me trying to invoke a reddit bot that replies automatically with links to the apps mentioned, but sometimes it doesn't seem to work... Link Sheet I think is like an advanced

How do you set it to open by default? There is no way to set it on Android 15.

Linkme is same as LinkSheet?
With magisk/lsposed it's possible to edit/replace the share menu.

Magisk or Lsposed script would do if not with Shizuku.

Both not maintained anymore due to Google's increasing restrictions and hassles, but they do work. Each has different purposes so you proba

Yes LinkSheet is very good I use nightly version it's much more advanced and up to date. I dunno why the dev doesn't update stable.

Is it enough to replace Sharedr the way you need it?
