Rollable/Flexible Screens: Expanding Beyond Laptops for New Product Categories
The review of a 'Rollable Laptop' highlights the ongoing development and exploration of flexible screen technology. The sentiment 'Proves There Are Better Uses for Flexible Screens' indicates a perceived unmet potential or a desire for innovative applications beyond current laptop designs. This opens significant opportunities for R&D in new form factors for consumer electronics (e.g., smart home devices, portable entertainment, smart displays, wearable tech, dynamic advertising displays) and industrial applications, as well as specialized software/UI development for these unique interfaces to optimize user experience on non-traditional screens.

Personally I prefer see more fields in my spreadsheet than rows. Seeing 0.1% of the data VS 0.2% doesn't make much of a difference to me

This is very useful to me for typing out notes for something I am watching or reading. Content in main area, smaller area for note taking.
Mechanically it’s also way simpler and more robust

I’d rather have battery life than a party trick screen as screen that rolls means nothing if it dies before lunch.
