I've scanned the Reddit post and its comments.

Identified Potential Collaborator:

The creator of OneManDB.com, who is also the Original Poster (OP) of the thread.

Reasoning for Selection:

  • Proven Product & Monetization: The OP has successfully built and generated initial revenue ($1,200 in two months) with OneManDB.com. This shows they can execute and bring in money.
  • Niche Authority & Access: OneManDB.com is a "database of people making $10k+/month." This means the OP has curated a list of, and has insights into, successful indie hackers. They are like a "meta-influencer" or a key player in this high-value community, with access to other successful individuals.
  • Community Engagement: The OP is actively seeking advice and engaging within the indie hacker community, showing they are invested and connected.

Collaboration Suggestions & Expected Benefits:

This creator has shown they can build and monetize a product (OneManDB.com). Their product is a database of other successful indie hackers, making them a meta-influencer in this community. A collaboration would be highly strategic.

  1. Offer an Exclusive Discount/Bundle for OneManDB Users:

    • Suggestion: Provide an exclusive discount or a special bundle of your product/service specifically for individuals listed in or subscribed to OneManDB.
    • Expected Benefit: Direct access to a pre-qualified list of successful indie hackers who are likely early adopters and potential power users. This can drive targeted acquisitions.
  2. Co-author a Report or "State of Indie Hacking" Content:

    • Suggestion: Collaborate with the OP to analyze trends, success factors, or common challenges among the high-earning indie hackers featured in OneManDB. This could be a blog post, a downloadable report, or a webinar.
    • Expected Benefit: Position your brand as a thought leader alongside the OP. Gain insights into the indie hacker market and get your brand in front of the OneManDB audience and the broader indie hacker community interested in such a report.
  3. Affiliate Partnership:

    • Suggestion: If your product/service is relevant to indie hackers aiming for high revenue, propose an affiliate partnership where the OP promotes your offering to their database users or general audience for a commission.
    • Expected Benefit: Performance-based marketing targeting a highly relevant audience. The OP is incentivized to drive quality traffic.

Overall Expected Benefit from Collaborating with the OP of OneManDB.com:

Highly targeted exposure to a community of successful and aspiring indie hackers, direct access to individuals who have already achieved a significant level of success, and an opportunity to gather valuable insights about this demographic. This could lead to high-quality user acquisition and enhanced brand credibility within the indie hacker ecosystem.

I built a project that generated $1,200 in just two months. Now, I have some good ideas for my next project, but I’m stuck between a few options. Should I start working on a new project, cont

I’d start a new project.

$600 a month is great, why do you need to build something else?

It's a really good MRR, starting a parallel thing is good, sometimes it deviates the path and you will lose focus on the existing growing one. I would suggest the existing one to scale it fu

May i ask how you marketed it and got all the users? I myself have built an app that was a solution to a struggle/problem i had, and im sure a lot others too, now i have no idea how to market

Yes, this is the most practical step that I can take.

If it made $1,200 in 2 months, it’s not dead yet. Milk it while it’s warm, market it harder, automate what you can — then use that cash flow to launch the next one. Don’t chase shiny objects

1,200 is a good start! Why not focus more on growing that before diving into something else?

If you are getting traction in an idea, it makes sense to double down until you reach a saturation. It is hard to get traction. Why leave something on the table of your idea is making bucks
u/solobuilder
Yeah, I know, but I think my new project can make more money than the current one.

What’s your current product called? That will help answer your question.

If your current product is working and you can improve its numbers then I would say work on the current one first. You can always work on a new one later once the current one is properly sca

With only two months in your new project still needs your focus to nurture it and develop it so keep 80-90% of your available time to it still. Use the 10-20% to do the early validation and r

I'm seeing other indie hackers on X building multiple projects and getting successful. That’s why I need to start another one.

They posted the product in another reply: https://www.onemandb.com/ Based on the pricing it looks like this is all one-time payments, not MRR.

Yes, this is a useful feedback.
