Transition from DoorDash: Explore BOH, business delivery driver roles, or state employment support.
For a young adult looking to move on from DoorDash, there are a few promising career paths. One practical option is to use their home cooking skills to land a "Back of House" (BOH) position in a restaurant, like a dishwasher or line prep. Another route is to become a delivery driver for a specific business, which might open up opportunities for advancement, such as becoming a shift supervisor. Reaching out to a local state employment agency can also be a great way to get job search support, resources, and even access to training programs. These options generally offer more stability and room for growth compared to gig work.

He doesn't have a "network."

There are entry-level positions that don’t require him to have a resume. I only ever needed a resume for one job. Is he interested in working in a kitchen? Fast-food doesn’t sound glamorou
