Kansas Republicans drop redistricting push

Kansas: REJECTS Trump’s deep red Redistricting plan. Kansas says a goverment should not choose its voters!! “Purple Kansas?”
I can’t believe that this just happened here where Kansas traditionally has so much out of state dollars funding deep red candidates all the time. Today, the people of Kansas, the voters, have won. Not only did so many local races win by voting out extreme right wing politicans, but Kansas rejected Trumps Redistricting scheme that walks back democracy. His method allows for governments to draw districts that favors the candidate it wants, rather than what the people want. I, for one, am welcoming our Purple state, which is more representative of our mix of red and blue. Then nationally, we have two new Blue mayors, California voting for Prop 50 to better represent that population, and many of our local races that won tonight. Way to go Kansas. Way to go voters. ❤️
